Keshorn Walcott earns gold at World Athletic Championships

Keshorn Walcott has won gold, in this morning’s men’s javelin throw, at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.

He claimed his second global javelin title, with a winning throw of 88.16 meters.

Two-time world champion Anderson Peters of Grenada took silver with 87.38 meters, while American Curtis Thompson cupped bronze at 86.67m.

This win for Walcott comes 13 years after his 2012 Olympic victory.
