Former Chutney Soca Monarch Kenneth Salick has revealed that he is battling kidney failure and is not in good health.
In a Facebook post earlier today, he shared that the pain has been unbearable at times and contributed his recent decision to step away from performing.
The singer, who turns 64 in April, expressed hope that if his condition improves, he would return to the stage.
He also acknowledged the many calls and messages from supporters inquiring about his absence, saying he chose to share his diagnosis because his fans deserve to understand his situation.
