T&T sprinter Jereem Richards has secured a place in the 400 meters finals of the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
Running out of Lane Six, at Tokyo’s National Stadium in Japan, this morning Richards claimed his space with a time of 44.12.
The winner of the race was Botswana’s Busang Kebinatshipi in 43.61 seconds, while Jamaica’s Rusheen Mcdonald secured the other qualifying spot placing second in 44.04.
The final is scheduled for Thursday at 9:10AM, T&T time.
