A tropical wave in the eastern Atlantic has a high chance of developing in the next week as it approaches the Caribbean.
At this time, the forecast trajectory of this weather system by the Hurricane Centre does not show it impacting Trinidad and Tobago.
However it could affect the northern leeward islands.
The NHC says a tropical depression is likely to form late this week or over the weekend as conditions remain conducive to development.
