Authorities in Tobago are investigating multiple incidents that occurred on the island yesterday.

At Buccoo Reef, a 71-year-old Grenadian man drowned, while a British national who was injured in the same incident, is reportedly in stable condition.

In a separate incident, a body, with a reported gunshot wound to the head, was discovered in Bacolet.

Meanwhile, at Store Bay, police detained a foreign national, believed to be involved in a shooting.

In related news, the Ministry of Homeland Security is refuting a misleading headline, which suggested Minister Roger Alexander was arrested in Tobago.

The Ministry says the individual, who was held at Store Bay, is not the Minister and warns that such reporting leads to confusion and can damage reputations.
