Four CARICOM countries will roll out full free movement from October 1st.
Barbados, Belize, Dominica and St. Vincent will implement the arrangement that will allow citizens to enter, reside, work, and remain indefinitely, without the need for work or residency permits.
There will also be the access to emergency and primary health care, as well as public primary and secondary education, subject to the resources of the host country.
The move follows a decision by regional leaders to deepen the Caricom Single Market and Economy, which facilitates the free movement of goods, skills, labour and services across the bloc.
