Investigations are conrinuing into a suspected drug incident involving a Form 1 student at a secondary school in the Northern Division.
Around 11:30am yesterday, officers in the School Oriented Policing Unit received intelligence and intercepted the student.
The boy was found with wrapping paper and a package containing a plant-like material resembling cannabis.
According to the TTPS, the student was immediately cautioned and informed of the offence.
The school’s administration was also notified, with officers summoned from from the Community-Oriented Policing Section and the Cumuto Police Station
The weight and composition of the substance are being verified.
