Flooding has been reported this morning in parts of central and south Trinidad.
This as rains continue, prompting an extension of Yellow Level Adverse Weather Alert until 4PM today.
A release from the Local Government Ministry reported flooding along Brasso Road, Caparo Valley, in the vicinity of the breeding unit, around 10:55AM.
In the Penal Debe area, affected areas include along the SS Erin Road, in the vicinity of Batchiya Village, Patiram Trace amd Parts of Clarke Road.
An update from the Met Service advised that scattered showers and persistent rain with occasional thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds continue to affect various parts of T&T.
Persons are being encouraged to remain vigilant and monitor weather conditions in their areas.
