No injuries have been reported after a fire at the Fab India Expo compound in Chaguanas.
Acting Assistant Chief Fire Officer – Central Division, Lalchan Arjoon, confirmed this with 103.1FM News today.
He said the small fire, which happened at a “temporary residential accommodation” on the compound, off Chan Ramlal Street in Endeavour, was completely extinguished by officers in a timely manner.
Initial reports indicated it may have been caused by a lit deya or incense stick.
Officer Arjoon is urging extreme caution and vigilance, especially with open flames in homes.
