Meta has launched new AI-powered smart glasses, in partnership with Ray-Ban and Oakley.
This was unveiled at its annual Meta Connect developer’s conference, where CEO Mark Zuckerberg also revealed a neural wristband that lets users send messages using hand gestures.
The Meta Ray-Ban Display Glasses comes with a full-colour high-resolution screen in one lens, where users can conduct video calls and see messages and also features a 12-megapixel camera.
The Display will be available this month and sell for US$799, significantly more than than Meta’s current smart glasses.
A US$499 Oakley Meta Vanguard glasses are aimed at sports enthusiasts, while the second generation of the Ray-Ban Meta glasses have been priced at $379.
