Investigations are underway into the death of Raidel Persad, who was discovered murdered in Carlsen Field yesterday.
The body of the 53-year-old Methanex Engineer of Chaguanas, was discovered around 5:45PM at Pipecon Road, slumped over the driver’s seat of a white Audi.
According to police, Mr Persad’s wife said he received a phone call around 4PM, after which he said he was going to Carlsen Field, however did not say who or why he was going to meet the persons.
A T&T Express report said investigators recovered eight spent 9mm shell casings of varying brands, believed to have been used in the shooting.
