Former government minister and FIFA Vice President Austin Jack Warner has graduated from the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) with a Doctorate in Philosophy.
Warner, 82, told CNC3 News earlier today that he was “elated” and “over the moon” after receiving his doctorate.
He said this could be an inspiration for young people, adding that education is a lifelong activity.
Warner said there were days he was frustrated by the process but he pointed to this family, staff and two professors as his inspiration to make it through.
The newly-minted Dr Austin Jack Warner said the development was “long overdue.”
