Dove Self Esteem Program

Hundreds of secondary school students across Trinidad took part in the Dove Self-Esteem Project’s Confident Me workshops — a week-long initiative aimed at helping young people embrace their uniqueness and build self-worth.

The sessions, held from October 13th to 17th, featured interactive discussions and activities led by Unilever Caribbean staff, wellness experts, and mental health advocates Simone Dacosta and Chelsea Cree.

Unilever Caribbean’s Marketing Manager, Alanna Ramjattan, encouraged students to remember that “your value is not defined by how you look, but by who you are.”

Managing Director Ginelle Lambie added that Dove’s mission is to remind young people that beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, and shades.

The programme is expected to expand to more schools across Trinidad and Tobago.
