Efforts are underway for the International Coastal Cleanup 2025, after nearly 1,000 pounds of trash were cleared from Chagville Beach last year.
The Planning Ministry is leading the local charge, tomorrow from 9:30AM, at the Foreshore in Port of Spain.
Over 300 volunteers are expected to collect marine waste and raise awareness on keeping our seas clean.
The cleanup is part of a global movement to protect coastal environments through community action and responsible waste disposal.
