Classes at the Palo Seco Secondary School were dismissed early today, following the death of a janitor on the compound.
The Ministry of Education confirmed this and sent condolences on the passing of Ms. Jennifer Harrington, a temporary cleaner.
It said she served with dedication, kindness and humility, and quickly became a part of the school’s family.
The Ministry said its students support services will reach out to staff and students as they navigate this difficult time.
