The British High Commission marked the 77th birthday of King Charles III with a reception at the High Commissioner’s Residence, celebrating the long-standing partnership between the UK and Trinidad and Tobago.

He also reaffirmed that new visa requirements for T&T nationals stem from rising asylum claims, but do not weaken bilateral ties.
Dean announced new climate-resilience funding through the Green Climate Fund and reported a surge in UK–T&T trade, now valued at £1.3 billion.
Foreign Affairs Minister Sean Sobers praised the role of innovation and diversity in modern diplomacy.
