Soldiers on a trek in a forested area off North Post Road, Diego Martin, made a grim discovery Tuesday afternoon — the decomposing body of a man.
Police say the victim, believed to be from Agostini Terrace, had his hands tied and a gunshot wound to the head.
Investigators suspect he was killed elsewhere and dumped in the remote area.
The body has been taken to the Forensic Science Centre for identification.
