Renowned Bollywood singer Arijit Singh has announced his retirement from playback singing, saying he will no longer take on new assignments as a playback vocalist.
Sharing the news on social media earlier today, he clarified that he is not quitting music and will continue creating and learning independently.
He added that there are a few pending playback projects to be released in the coming months.
Calling his playback career meaningful, Arijit thanked fans for their support and assured that while he is stepping away from film playback, his connection with music will continue.
