Afternoon rainfall in Trinidad brought on some flash flooding on the Western Half of the island, especially in Port of Spain and San Fernando.

Many of the streets in downtown Port of Spain are currently inundated by water, like the areas flooded last week.

These include South Quay, City Gate, Wrightson Road, Independence Square, and several streets downtown, as well as Ariapita Avenue, and St. James.

Persons are being advised that Bamboo Junction on the Southern Main Road going into Dumfries Road and Palmiste Boulevard, Union Hall, in the vicinity of VMCOTT is experiencing flash flooding.

Other areas in San Fernando, including Pleasantville, and parts of Penal are also flooded.
