More than $340,000 in jewellery and gold were stolen during an armed robbery at a Princes Town store yesterday.

Newsday reported that around 9AM, two men entered the Maingot Road store and tied up the sales clerk.

Stolen items included a gold bera valued at over $50,000, gold earrings, diamond rings, and 80 grams of scrap gold.

The men then escaped in a waiting vehicle.
