The Trinidad and Tobago Golf Association (TTGA) is set to host the 118th TT Open Golf Championship this week at the prestigious St. Andrew’s Golf Club in Moka.
The championship opens tomorrow with the 2-Person Scramble, featuring 52 teams, followed by the Opening Ceremony at 5:00 PM.
Practice rounds begin Thursday, March 12th, leading into the main tournament from Friday, March 13th to Sunday, March 15th, 2026.
The event will showcase 157 top players from Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean, USA, UK, Canada, and Egypt across Championship, 1st and 2nd Flights, Ladies, Seniors, Super Seniors, and Masters categories.
Spectators can attend in person or follow live scoring via Novel Sports.
Defending champion Chris Richards Jr warmed up for the tournament with his first tournament win in the USA, when he took the Currahee Club Invitational last week.
Richards carded a 10-under par total to dominate the field and has now leapt up 10 places to 6th in the NAIA national rankings.
The Diego Martin shot rounds of 69, 70, and 67 for a three day total of 206, equalling the best-ever 54 hole score by a Webber College student.
“Chris was world-class. When he’s in the zone, he’s unstoppable,” his coach Stuart Winsby said.
