Two children are among 21 illegal immigrants held in Carenage.
The group was intercepted along the Western Main Road, in the vicinity of the Bamboo Fish Market around 11:30pm yesterday.
Those detained include 11 adult males, eight adult females and two male children, aged 16 and six.
Their detention came as officers of the Coastal and Air Support Unit and the Carenage Police Station responded to information received from the Radar Centre about a target heading toward Carenage.
