The Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce has welcomed the 2026 National Budget, saying it reflects strong policy continuity and responsiveness to private sector input.
The Chamber says several of its recommendations were included, noting the Government’s focus on food security, economic diversification, digital transformation, and improving the ease of doing business.
It highlights measures such as investment in agriculture, support for creative and marine industries, and the creation of an Export Academy — all seen as key to job creation and competitiveness.
The Chamber says it stands ready to work with the Government to ensure effective implementation for sustainable growth.
