Rain

The Yellow Level Adverse Weather Alert has been extended until 12PM tomorrow.

In its latest update, the Met Service says periods of moderate to heavy rain, with a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms, will continue into tonight.

Strong low-level winds are making seas occasionally rough, with waves over 2.5 metres and heavy showers may cause street flooding, overwhelmed drains, especially near high tide, and an increased risk of landslides.

It added that gusty winds over 55 km/h could topple trees, move loose objects, and worsen sea conditions, posing a hazard to small craft.
