The Port of Spain City Corporation has resumed wrecking operations in downtown Port of Spain from today, December 1st.
Officials say illegally or improperly parked vehicles in the business district will be removed to help ease congestion and maintain order.
Fines for traffic sign and parking violations are $500 with two demerit points, while penalties for disability parking offences now range from $500 to $2,000.
