Windies

Roston Chase steered the West Indies to a much needed victory against Pakistan yesterday, at the Brian Lara Stadium.

The 49-run-knock from the Player of the Match helped the hosts win the second ODI by five wickets on the DLS method, levelling the series 1-1.

Pakistan’s innings was severely hampered by bowling from the West Indies pace attack, with Jayden Seales leading the charge, claiming three wickets for 23 runs in his seven overs.

Yesterday’s match was affected by weather interruptions that required the use of the DLS method, reducing the West Indies target and the number of overs.

The final match in this ODI series will be played tomorrow at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy from 9:30AM.
