“Who vex, loss.”

This defiant declaration came today from THA Chief Secretary Farley Augustine, as he called for stronger enforcement following yesterday’s tragedy in Pigeon Point.

7-year-old Angelica Jogie was killed after a jet-ski slammed into a group of people who were in a zone designated for bathers.

A 32-year-old man is now in custody, having been held by police at Canaan Feeder Road around 12:30 this morning.

During a THA briefing today, Mr Augsutine said existing policy frameworks are in place to protect all, but are only effective if adhered to.

Mr Augustine also touched on an area where he hopes to see action from the Government.

The Chief Secretary said there must also be more efficient enforcement by the police and other authorities.
