Cricket West Indies has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming Women’s T20 International Series against Sri Lanka in Grenada.

The three-match series, running from February 28 to March 3 at the National Cricket Stadium in St George’s, serves as a key build-up to the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in the United Kingdom.

Captain Hayley Matthews will lead the team, which features promising young talent including 17-year-old Barbadian Eboni Brathwaite, earning her maiden call-up to the senior side.

Other additions include Zaida James and Mandy Mangru, who replace Ashmini Munisar and Shunelle Sawh.

Head Coach Shane Deitz emphasized the importance of the series for World Cup preparation, highlighting the squad’s mix of experienced players returning from the Women’s Premier League and rising stars like Jahzara Claxton.

Fans are invited to attend all matches free of charge, while regional supporters can follow the action live on the Windies Cricket YouTube channel and Disney+.
