Waves up to 3.5 metres have been reported, as rough sea conditions continue to affect parts of Trinidad and Tobago.
A Yellow Level Hazardous Seas Alert remains in effect for northern and eastern exposed coastal areas, including offshore regions.
The TTMS says the rough conditions are due to relatively strong winds that are agitating the sea surface, leading to large waves and potentially dangerous sea conditions.
It warns that agitated seas are likely to be particularly perilous for offshore activities, including fishing and other small craft marine interests.
There is also an increased risk of strong rip currents, posing a serious hazard to swimmers and beachgoers.
The Alert is in effect until 6pm on Thursday.
