The University of the West Indies (UWI) St. Augustine Campus is currently hosting the International Conference on Migrant and Refugee Issues.
The 3-day event will address critical migration challenges in Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean, as shifting migration patterns and displacement from regional crises reshape social and policy landscapes.
The conference will include keynote lectures, panel sessions, workshops, and over 30 peer-reviewed presentations from global experts.
It aims to foster collaboration among researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to tackle issues like social justice, multiculturalism, and migrant support.
