Police have arrested two suspects and seized multiple firearms and ammunition during a series of anti-crime operations across the Northern, Eastern and Central Divisions.
In Arima, Northern Division officers stopped a 23-year-old man on Church Street and discovered a Ruger pistol loaded with nine rounds.
Meanwhile in Sangre Grande, a 33-year-old suspect wanted for a shooting incident was found hiding in an abandoned house.
He was held with a loaded firearm and 29 shotgun cartridges and is expected to face several serious charges.
And in Cunupia, Central Division officers found a Glock pistol with ten rounds and cocaine valued at $15,000 during an intelligence-led exercise.
Investigations continue.
