The Trinidad and Tobago Women’s Cricket Association has expressed its deep sadness at the passing of Rashme Deoajit, who it called “a respected member of the local cricket community.”
Deoajit, a former Cedros Secondary cricketer, was stabbed to death at her Cedros home on Tuesday.
The Women’s Cricket Association said Deoajit was celebrated for her dedication and impact both on and off the field, leaving a lasting mark on teammates and fans alike.
The Association extends heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and club, asking that the community keep them in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
