Thousands of teachers are set to receive their back pay and a 5% salary increase for the 2020-2023 period by the first quarter of 2026.
TTUTA President Crystal Ashe shared the positive news for teachers following his meeting with Chief Personnel Officer Dr Daryl Dindial yesterday.
The TTUTA President also confirmed that a Cabinet Note on the matter is expected to be tabled as early as Thursday.
The settlement includes the 5% increase, which will be distributed over three years—1% in the first two years and 3% in the third year, along with a consolidation of the Cost of Living Allowance (COLA).
