Trinidad and Tobago and The Gambia have formally established diplomatic relations.
The agreement was signed on March 9th by Foreign Affairs Minister Sean Sobers and Sering Modou Njie, The Gambia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Both officials reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening ties of friendship and cooperation under the framework of the United Nations Charter and international law.
The Gambia is the smallest country on the African mainland and is bordered by Senegal on all sides, except for the west, which is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean.
