The Coral Princess sailed into Port of Spain today, marking the start of what officials expect to be a vibrant period for tourism.
Minister of Works and Infrastructure Jearlean John joined key tourism partners to welcome the vessel and its passengers.
She noted that global tourism is becoming increasingly competitive and urged local stakeholders to unlock the country’s full potential as a premier cruise destination.
Minister John reaffirmed the Government’s vision to elevate Trinidad and Tobago’s cruise terminals to world-class standards.
She said strategic investments and the national Revitalisation Blueprint will transform the Port of Port of Spain into a facility capable of rivalling major international hubs—driving economic diversification and attracting more cruise calls in the years ahead.
