The Tobago People’s Party says it is set to expand Tobago’s tourism sector with the introduction of luxury hotel chains like the Marriot Resort and the Hilton International.

The move to reposition Tobago as a premium destination is part of the TPP’s plan to increase tourism’s contribution to GDP to 8% by 2035.

Chief Secretary Farley Augustine made the announcement during the TPP’s presentation of Blueprint 2025-2026 on Sunday, its 20-year vision for the island.
