Police in Tobago are continuing investigations into the death of 36-year-old Stacy Samaroo after an autopsy revealed she died by drowning, with strangulation listed as a contributing factor.
Samaroo, a mother from Golconda, was found floating in Blenheim Bay on March 3 with a rope around her neck.
Her body was identified by relatives who travelled to Tobago for the post-mortem.
The Trinidad Express reported that the body showed signs of early decomposition.
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward as enquiries continue into the circumstances surrounding her death.
