The Tobago House of Assembly is set to meet with the central government in an effort to bring Tobago student Rayon Taylor back home from Abu Dhabi.

The 19-year-old Taylor was invited to visit the New York University Abu Dhabi for a weekend program in recognition of his academic excellence.

Chief Secretary Farley Augustine is looking to the central government for assistance, after the closure of airports in Abu Dhabi.

“I will have to have a conversation with the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs to see what Trinidad and Tobago is doing in terms of its citizens who may be stuck abroad. Then I will be able to give a detailed response in terms of what we can do,” said Mr Augustine on Monday.
