The Tobago House of Assembly is conducting an urgent study to assess the economic impact of recent inter-island cargo disruptions on businesses in Tobago.
The Economic Management Research Unit, within the Division of Finance, Trade and the Economy, is inviting all Tobago-based businesses to provide estimates of losses and explain how their operations were affected between January 12th and February 28th, 2026.
Officials say the information will be used in aggregate form to guide future planning and support, and all submissions will be treated with strict confidentiality.
Businesses are urged to participate in this critical assessment to help understand the full impact of the disruptions.
