A group of ten Pandits from Trinidad and Tobago are set to travel to India for a month-long training under the first-ever ‘Purohit Course for Diaspora Countries’ at Banaras Hindu University in Kashi, running from December 1st to 27th.
The course, designed by Bharat Adhyayan Kendra, will train participants in Sanatana traditions, Vedic intonation, and bhakti rituals, preparing them to lead their communities in preserving ancestral Indian cultural values.
The Trinidad & Tobago Pandits will also take part in the International Gita Mahotsav in Kurukshetra, Haryana, later this month, further strengthening ties between the two nations.
