Trinidad Cement Limited and its parent company, Cemex, have partnered with the Trinidad and Tobago Red Cross Society to expand their “Together for Jamaica” relief campaign.
Through the collaboration, humanitarian aid collected by TCL employees—including food, baby supplies and personal care items—will be efficiently distributed to vulnerable families in Jamaica affected by Hurricane Melissa.
Employees also donated cash, with some converting vacation days into contributions.
TCL Managing Director Francisco Aguilera says the initiative reflects strong regional solidarity, while the Red Cross welcomed the partnership as critical to effective emergency response.
