Residents of St. Augustine are encouraged to attend a special Community Meeting hosted by Khadijah Ameen, Minister of Rural Development and Local Government and Member of Parliament for St. Augustine.
The event is set to take place on Tuesday, 17th March 2026, starting at 6:00 PM at Bamboo Government Primary School, located on Jaffar Street, Bamboo Settlement No. 2.
The meeting, organised in collaboration with Councillor Seema Ramsaran-Augustine (Valsayn/St. Joseph), aims to provide residents with the opportunity to engage directly with government representatives, voice concerns, and receive updates on local development initiatives.
Several key government agencies will be present to address issues and provide real-time feedback, including the Ministry of Works, the Office of the Commissioner of State Lands, the Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government, and the Traffic Management Branch.
Minister Ameen urged all residents to participate actively, highlighting that community input is essential for shaping effective local policies and services.
