The Siparia Borough Corporation today held an emotional 27th Statutory Meeting—its first without Councillor Romona Victor of Siparia East and San Francique South.
Mayor Doodnath Mayrhoo and fellow council members said her absence was deeply felt in the chamber, describing her as a dedicated public servant, a committed community advocate, and a treasured colleague.
The Corporation continues to mourn her passing, reflecting on her years of service and leadership.
In a solemn tribute, officials offered prayers for her peaceful rest, saying Councillor Victor’s legacy of compassion and commitment will continue to guide the Borough of Siparia.
