The Ministry of Culture is engaging Carnival stakeholders as it begins public consultations for its national initiative, “The Blueprint of Carnival.”
The initiative aims to strengthen the planning, management, and global competitiveness of Trinidad and Tobago’s Carnival.
The first session was held yesterday at the VIP Lounge, Queen’s Park Savannah and focused on the business of Steelpan.
It gathered feedback from citizens, stakeholders, and cultural practitioners to guide planning, support the Steelpan sector, and enhance the overall Carnival experience.
Minister Michelle Benjamin said the consultations ensure that voices of stakeholders help guide decisions to sustain Carnival and enhance its cultural and economic impact.
