The PSA has announced a 10% victory after an official agreement was signed with the Chief Personnel Officer earlier today, following what was called a “lengthy and challenging negotiation process”.
The agreement includes a 10% increase, consolidation of Cost of Living Allowance for outstanding periods and new salary payments beginning January 2026.
Also included were allowances retroactive to January 1, 2014, and an advance on arrears to be paid on or before December 23, 2025.
This will apply to all officers within the Civil Service, Statutory Authorities subject to the Statutory Authorities Act and the Tobago House of Assembly.
Meanwhile, PSA President Felisha Thomas described the signing as a major milestone, offering both financial relief and recognition of workers’ efforts.
She thanked the Prime Minister for prioritizing workers, the Finance Minister for helping turn the promise into reality, and the Chief Personnel Officer for successfully leading the negotiations.
