A 41-year-old Princes Town man who went missing in a forested area close to his home has died after being found alive during a search.
Map Karamath left his home around 8:30 yesterday morning, and when he did not return his relatives and friends began searching the area.
Members of the Hunters Search and Rescue Team (HSRT) joined the effort and continued the search overnight.
The Team stated that Mr Karamath was found alive this morning but sadly died while waiting for an ambulance and medical assistance.
The HSRT warned the public about misinformation circulation online about the incident and offered condolences to Mr Karamath’s family and friends.
