Their Excellencies, President Christine Kangaloo and First Gentleman Kerwyn Garcia, will host Steelpan Royale: An Evening of Elegance this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the President’s House.
The event celebrates Trinidad and Tobago’s national instrument, the steelpan, and honours the pioneers and generations of talent that shaped its journey.
Performances will feature steelpan legends Dr. Ray Holman and Dr. Len “Boogsie” Sharpe, joined by Natasha Joseph, Dr. Edward Cumberbatch, the Lydians singers, and musical maestro Dr. Pelham Goddard with his band.
