Guyana’s President, Dr Irfaan Ali, has paid tribute to Daniel Williams who unexpectedly passed away yesterday.
Mr Williams, a PPP/C candidate for Region Seven, collapsed and died while speaking at a public meetings in Agatash.
He was the Headmaster of Three Miles Secondary School and served as an educator for over 30 years.
In a tribute shared online, Dr Ali hailed Mr Williams as a man who dedicated his life to serving the community.
He added, “We will honour his work with a deeper commitment and hard work to ensure the development of Region Seven and our country continues under the PPP/C.”
