A police officer is among three people in custody in connection with the kidnapping and murder of farmer Vishnu Lalla.
The Couva man was reported missing and a $100,000 ransom was demanded for his safe release on Saturday.
A part of the ransom was paid but his body was discovered in Brechin Castle.
CNC3 reports that a police officer and two civilians have been arrested.
Lalla is the brother of Super Industrial Services owner, Krishna Lalla.
