Police are investigating an incident where a Tarouba man allegedly abducted, beat and then raped the mother of his children on Sunday night.
The Trinidad Express reported that the man abducted the woman around 9:30pm last night, beat her in his car, and then forced himself upon her in Aripero and in La Brea.
The woman was later dropped off near her home, after which she reported the incident at the Oropouche Police Station.
The woman was taken to the Siparia District Health Facility where she was treated and medically examined.
